Happy Lunar New Year from CFD to You!

Today remarks the first day of the Year of the Tiger and the first day of the new Lunar Year. The New Year usually begins with the first new moon that occurs between the end of January and early February. In China, it is celebrated for the first 15 days of the first lunar month. The New Year celebration is centered around removing the bad and the old, and welcoming the new and the good. It's a time to worship ancestors, exorcize evil spirits and pray for good harvest. Today it's celebrated by many communities outside the country emphasizing its influence on our society. Lunar New Year represents good luck and fortune, and we wish to spread this aspect of East and South-East Asia Culture.
